I have watched my granddog, an aging Australian Shepherd, living in pain from worn tendons and damage in his youth from being a working stock dog, to starting the CBD Happy Dogs treats two weeks ago and coming back to life. Whiskey just celebrated his 11th birthday feeling like a young dog. My husband broke out with shingles across front and back of his ribs. Made it difficult for him to breathe the pain was bad. I have a 10 year old Australian Shepherd. He helped me with my livestock for many years, but within the last 3 years he started having extreme joint pain in both of his front carpus. He limped everywhere, sore and stiff. Refused to get up in the mornings, and showed no interest in helping work the stock anymore. He also began to have seizures that the vet said were likely caused by pain and stress. So I decided, rather than medicating him, to try Happy Dogs CBD. Within 5 days his limp was gone and he was acting like a pup again! He was happy, always wagging his tail, and he was up and ready to come with me everywhere, just like old times. Thank you for the excellence of your Happy Dogs CBD Treats! I have no FaceBook account, but I just wanted to write and tell you how much your product helped our dog, who has a lot of anxiety. I gave him one last night, just to have him try one out while I could observe his behavior. He typically chomps his jaws and steps on our heels following us around so close in his nervousness and anxiety, and last night, for the first time in a long time, he just behaved like a mellow, well-adjusted pup! That was truly amazing to see him come out of his anxious state, and now we are able to leave him alone when we go out for a few hours without him, without worrying about boarding him, or whether we need to bring him with us and spend so long in the car! Cheyenne’s Story:
We rescued a 3 month old pit-bull puppy that had been abused. The poor pup quaked around people and was very skittish. Dougie is a rescue hound found on the side of the road. We took him in. He enjoys chasing bunnies and sunning in the dirt outside. He also loves rough housing in the living room with our dog, Cabela. The dogs play pretty rough, so usually they get sent outside.
Dougie started slowing down and having seizures last year. We are not sure of his past. We do not think it was very good. We felt bad for him. He was miserable, so we tried CBD to see if it would help. His seizures are now reduced by 90% and he has more energy. He sleeps and plays much better and is enjoying life again. We believe Happy Dogs CBD treats have improved Dougie’s health and definitely has given him a much better quality of life. He would be such a sad pup without his CBD every morning. With a BS in Animal Science, a Masters in Animal Physiology, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, all from Colorado State University, Dr. Silver is uniquely qualified in this work to benefit the Colorado hemp industry.
In his many years of small animal veterinary practice in Colorado during the introduction of medical cannabis, Dr. Silver saw first-hand through his patients the clinical benefits of this plant. His training and experience as a practitioner of medical herbalism further allowed him to better understand how best to use this amazing plant.
Many veterinary species are sensitive to the unbalancing effects of the psychotropic cannabinoid, THC, and thus when the Federal Farm Bill passed in 2014, Dr. Silver began looking to hemp with its naturally low THC content as the ideal format for animals.
